Why do I write?

For the love of great words
And of using them right
For the comfort they bring
In the darkness of night

In my own humble way
Trying to comfort and cheer
But it doesn’t require
High cost, calories or beer.

Because when it comes right
I feel such satisfaction
It’s a beautiful thing
Getting positive reaction

So here’s a ditty for you
Coming straight from my heart
From soul deep inside
Thanks for liking my art.
